What is your process?
Start Your Design
It all starts with Design! Choose your property type, design size, and whether you’d like professional installation help or a DIY support package.
Step 1: Assembling the Team
We pair you with the right Design & Install Team for your project.
Step 2: Schedule Your Consultation.
We do a deep site analysis remotely and may request additional info before the call.
Step 3: Draft Design
A design draft may take up to 8-12 weeks.
Design Process
Step 5: Final Submission
Your design undergoes a final review from a Senior Designer before delivery.
Step 4: Design Review
A 1-hour call is scheduled to review the draft and discuss any alterations.

Your installer will schedule a site visit and group call with you and your designer to form a gameplan.

Step 3: Sourcing Materials
You will receive an invoice to deposit 80% of the estimated total so we can source materials and schedule the project.
Step 4: Installation
Time to witness your lawn being transformed into an edible landscape!
Step 5: Final Invoice
Now that your edible oasis is in the ground, a final invoice for the remaining balanced is submitted.
Install Your Vision
Step 1: Site Visit & Consultation
Your installer will schedule a site visit and group call with you and your designer to form a gameplan.
Step 2: Proposal
Following the call, your installer will build a custom proposal based upon your unique project.
Step 3: Sourcing Materials
You will receive an invoice to deposit 80% of the estimated total so we can source materials and schedule the project.
Install Process
Step 5: Final Invoice
Now that your edible oasis is in the ground, a final invoice for the remaining balanced is submitted.
Step 4: Installation
Time to witness your lawn being transformed into an edible landscape!

How Much Space Do I Need?
You can grow a beautiful, productive food forest in just a 10’ diameter circle. We also offer vertical gardening solutions (link to grow tower) for smaller areas and will soon be adding indoor gardening packages to help you grow in whatever space you can make available.
What Is Included With My Design?
Your Design Package Includes so much more than just a beautifully laid out plan, you also receive hours of consultation with an expert, a detailed narrative description of the design plan, plant list, phasing recommendations, site information, educational materials, and so much more. Also included is our Food Forest Owner’s Manual with installation and maintenance tips.
Where Do You Provide Installation Services?
We work with our network of local food forest installers, in locations all across the country and globally, to ensure your designed food forest is installed professionally and to the highest standards. If you are in a remote area, or an area that we do not yet serve, we will do our best to travel to you or find a qualified professional in the area.
Will This Work in My Climate?
Since our launch on Earth Day 2021, we have helped people grow food in 50 states and 51 countries, including resorts in Thailand, large farms in Africa, and single family residences from Poland to Mexico and all around the United States and Canada. Our professional food forest designers can design in any location around the world.
How Long Does It Take to Get Food?
You will have some food to harvest within your first growing season, and we can strategize to meet your needs for your immediate food security utilizing annuals. Generally, your perennial food forest will reach a very high level of productivity within 2-5 years.
I Don’t Have a Green Thumb, How Can I Do This?
Our food forest designs are low-maintenance and, over time, self-sustaining like a natural forest would be. We will create a design that suits your lifestyle and provide any necessary care instructions, support, and training. We’re also happy to offer custom maintenance packages to help your system thrive for generations to come.
