Permaculture Designer

  • Education and Experience- Master of Education and Certified Permaculture Designer. I bring 17 years of experience in the field of education, with a dedicated focus on teaching art and photography for the past 6 years. This experience uniquely equips me to excel in designing and instructing about food forests, as my background allows me to listen and communicate effectively and envision spaces creatively. I have created and collaborated on designs throughout the southern and eastern US, and have actively applied permaculture principles to my gardening and land stewardship practices at my suburban Atlanta home for the past decade.

  • Design Style- Guided by permaculture principles, my focus is on cultivating stunning and productive food forests that incorporate a variety of edible, medicinal, and native plants while working with the energies of the property. I love incorporating spaces for stewards to connect with their land and enjoy the sights, smells, and animal visitors to the forest garden.

  • A little about me- I am a mother of 3 incredible young adults who have been beautiful blessings in my life. As they are older now, I find joy in practicing yoga and meditation, which I wish I'd have found sooner. My enthusiasm for learning extends to various activities including music, traveling, playing tennis, water sports, hiking, and capturing moments through photography...really, having adventures. I have a deep appreciation for the beauty that surrounds me, emphasizing the interconnectedness of all of life.
